Fog continues to Friday but look for meteors if you see a break in the clouds!

If you are lucky enough to get out of, (above) the fog before light, there is a wonderful crescent moon waiting for you.  Also, if we are lucky enough to catch a break, or you head up to higher elevation, you will have perfect clear sky tonight, Wednesday, for the Geminid meteor shower! The UWash model is completely dry for the next 7 days.  There is not a hint of rain. This is due to the jetstream flowing up and around a high that is anchored along the coast. Here is the jetstream today: And here it is next Monday. You can see that the high has shifted…

  • Rain tonight into Thursday, more Friday evening and Saturday then a break?

The rain train continues. The good news is that the Flood Warnings and High Streamflow advisories have been lifted for the Somass river and tributaries. The bad news is there is some more rain coming. You can expect up to 30mm to fall overnight and into the morning. We should get a break Thursday afternoon…
