Slush on the hump – showers end today. Cooling next week?

There was sleet flying and slush on the hump as I drove over this morning so be careful if you are going east or west on Highway 4.

In all other regions of the Island though expect just showers and rain through the day.

The showers should end by tonight and we might see some stars overnight.

Wednesday will be most dry but showers will creep in from the West into Thursday but won’t be strong enough to get onto the east coast.

Cooling trend starting Friday?

Looking a little further out, some models have us cooling off a little bit from Friday through next week and we could see some snow by the end of next week. But it looks rather confused so I’d put the chances at only 10-30% right now.

For the most part we should stay at or just below seasonal temperatures.
