If you are on the Alberniweather Facebook page or Twitter feed, or you frequent the Webcams page here then you already know that as of yesterday around 11AM, the Highway 4 webcam on the Alberni Summit (the Hump!) is back online and better than ever!

It even has night vision!

The night vision will definitely help on those dark, snowy winter mornings! Lets hope the webcam is robust and stands the test of time!

And while we are on the topic of photos, save this to your booksmarks, the Alberniweather Photostream on iCloud!

Whenever I check forecast models, take a weather image, or anything else weather related I post it on that Photostream so it syncs to all my devices. Maybe it will be handy for others too.

If you would like to subscribe to it on your Apple iOS6 device or Mac so it appears in iPhoto, send me an email with your iCloud account email and ill add you. Then you’ll be able to like or comment on the pics as well and it will instantly notify you when I post a new image.

As for the weather. It’s going to be rainy tonight and then nasty on Saturday. We should get a break on Sunday before more rain comes next week.
