Winds hit over 100km/hr on the West Coast yesterday and we got almost 20mm of rain.

Listening to CKNW on the way in and Mark Madryga mentioned that the weather was not normal for this time of year.

  1. Thanks to Alberni Weather for helping with the new harbour quay webcam on bigwavedave.ca. It should attract some sailors, boaters, and kayakers to beautiful downtown Port Alberni. Too bad it wasn’t up in time for the tall ships. That was quite a sight seeing them sailing in those 20 knot winds!
