There is no tsunami danger for the U.S. West Coast, British Columbia, or Alaska.
Waiting to hear from Tsunami.gov
A 7.5M earthquake has occurred near Taiwan and there is a possibility of tsunami. I’ll post and boost more updates on my Mastodon/Fediverse account. (You don’t need an account to see it)
I would be surprised if we get major impacts from this event, but it is possible we could see some. I’ll update this post when there is a definitive statement for our region from tsunami.gov.
