Slushy hump and drizzle should dry out today before Tuesday rain

Yucky end to Sunday

It got ugly on Sunday evening on the hump with snow causing difficulties. There was a little left over slush on the road this morning but it was cleared and salted and sanded so hopefully everyone will be able to move safely.

It will not be warm today as the temperature should hover around 1 or 2°C. It will be a tad warmer near the water.

Rain will move in (in grey below) Tuesday morning.

7-10AM Tuesday

Showers will continue all day and into early Wednesday with accumulations up to 8mm in Port Alberni. Some of this may fall as wet snow as well but should not accumulate.

Break Thursday then Rain

We should start to dry out Wednesday afternoon and have a decent day on Thursday but rain will return Thursday evening and into Friday and Saturday.

That’s your Monday forecast. Drive carefully out there and have a great first week of December!
