You only have Monday and Tuesday to get your Snow Guesses into the contest!

The pattern of cold foggy mornings followed by beautiful sunny afternoons should continue for the next few days, including Halloween.  But late week it’s going to feel perhaps more like a different holiday altogether.

On Tuesday night, clouds will begin to overtake us again as the pattern changes… Wednesday will be cloudy and then overnight Wednesday rain will begin:

Rain will intensify Thursday morning and into the noon hour.

It should clear out overnight on Thursday.

However… things get interesting on Friday morning, below I have zoomed into Vancouver Island.  This is the precipitation map… notice the focus on the Nanaimo/Ladysmith area.

Now consider the same time… on the snowfall map:

Hmmm….

And then at 11AM:

Will it get to Port Alberni?
