Scattered showers over next few days – Ending California Drought?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday all will have scattered showers over the Island as we receive the tailing north edges of moisture that is mainly impacting California as you can see below.

They may end up with some flooding down there, but the good news is they might come out of this winter officially at the end of a multi-year drought.

Here is what their drought monitor looks like right now.  We can see it has ended for the Northern part of the state, but not the southern part.

Lets hope that they can get that water into their aquifers.

We should see a little more steady rain on Sunday afternoon.  But for the most part it should all feel pretty much like a normal wet winter.
