The rain will continue most of today.  There will be the odd break likely around noon and then it will pick up again after 2PM and probably rain most of the night and into Friday morning.

We will get another break on Friday afternoon before a widespread rain maker will sweep in Friday evening.  That storm will end Saturday morning and we might just get a glimpse of the sun on Saturday before another system moves in Saturday night.

Here are the rain totals for 24hr periods before Thursday evening, Friday evening and Saturday morning.  We can see the period over Thursday night and through Friday has the most rain, up to 16mm.

As I said above, we might get some glimpses of sunshine on Saturday but even more likely is on Sunday we should see some nice breaks even though there looks to be a threat of thunderstorms as there was on Wednesday.
