We have a set of fronts that are lining up to sweep over us in the next seven days or so. In the image below you can see a blob of moisture near Hawaii that will be periodically sending moisture our way for the next week or so.

Most of the rain that is coming is heading north of us into the Central and North coast. They had rain and wind warnings yesterday (lucky! :))

Tonight and early Saturday we can expect a chance of rain as one of these bands slides down the coast. There is actually going to be more rain in Vancouver than here in the Valley.

We will get a break Sunday and then another weak front will pass over Monday… followed by another on Wednesday or Thursday. None of them look particularly vigorous and we are likely to only get a few millimetres of rain at best.

Happy Weekend!

Chris

P.S. I’ve put in my papers with City Hall so I am now officially a candidate for councillor in this November’s (the 15th) election! If you live in City Limits or know folks who do please spread the word, and if you would like to help by having a sign on the lawn or in your car window, please get in touch. Leave a comment here or email contact@chrisalemany.ca or 250-723-0889

It has been an honour serving everyone through this website. It would be an even bigger honour to serve you all as councillor. Tons of info on policies and ideas and places to leave feedback on my website. www.chrisalemany.ca
