Just hit 40°C
The station has just hit a high of 40.2°C. The Humidex is 45. Other personal stations in the City are at similar highs. We’ll see if the Airport reaches that temperature to officially beat the all time all station record for August 15 of 39.4°C set by the city hall Port Alberni station in 1933. But I think it is safe to say we have beat it unofficially.
