We can expect a high of about 32°C this afternoon, similar to yesterday and the maybe a little less for Tuesday.

Things change Tuesday night as the ridge breaks down and showers creep in Wednesday afternoon.

The good news for sun lovers and the Salmon Derby and the bad news for the dry lawns and gardens and forests is that much like last week, the showers will be brief and light and insufficient to make a dent in the overall drought.

There is no rain forecast between Thursday and Monday and UWash indicates we are back to 30°C by Sunday.
