Today, Friday, is already shapingnup beautifully with mostly clear skies when I stepped out my door and a nice crescent moon hanging in the east.

We should get up to 15°C this afternoon in the sunshine!

Saturday, Earth Day, will be a bit of a mix. Don’t forget about the BIke Ride and BBQ (11-1PM) down at Harbour Quay! It should be a lot of fun in the name of Earth Day and all we can do to improve out little slice of it.

The forecast calls for it to cloud over Saturday morning and for light showers to begin around 1PM so just in time for when the festivites will be over.

Showers will continue into the evening and then clear overnight.

Sunday looks a little more interesting patchy but strong rain zones popping up in various places around the South Island including Port Alberni.

The showers will again linger into the evening before clearingnup overnight.

On Monday we have a more orgazined system bringing us rain all day and next week looks very changeable all week long but a little warmer!
