Models have insignificant rain.

While EC is predicting rain for Thursday and Friday for our area, the UWash model really doesn’t. Here is the 24 hour total between 5PM Thursday and Friday.

Rain Scale – Millimeters on top, centi-inches on bottom. (1024cin = 10 inches)

Barely 2 mm is expected in Port Alberni. A lot more is expected to fall on the West Coast and North Island but the south central and east coast look quite dry.

Even Vancouver will probably get more than us.

Thursday and Friday are the only days for a chance at signficant rain. Otherwise we should see mostly clouds and even some sunny breaks.
