There will also be an event at the Maritime Discovery Centre (near the lighthouse south of Harbour Quay) tonight March 27 7PM where people will share their stories and experiences of the Tsunami in 1964!

Nice Easter after the rain!

The forecast looks excellent for Easter Weekend! The rain and wind should clear up on Thursday night and Friday. By Friday we’ll get into sun and warmer temperatures and those will build into the weekend. We should be over 20ºC on Sunday and Monday in the sunshine!

There might be some fog in the mornings the temperatures get down below 5ºC overnight but it will warm up quickly once the fog burns off!
