After a month away it looks like winter is returning to our region. We will be getting down below zero over the next few days and next week the model has us going down below -10C.

We should get a little snow out of it though nothing major until maybe next week when a pacific front comes through over the cold. It’s all very early though for next week, this week I’m just hoping for some northerly winds to cool us off and bring in the dry air and sun.

I will only have short updates for the next week or two as my main computer is offline but I’ll try to keep small posts coming and be active in the comments area.

  1. Isn’t it gorgeous out there today? The GFS keeps pushing the precipitation into later next week – now it looks like Wed/Thu. What do you think, snow next weekend?

  2. It was amazing today. Hopefully tomorrow too. I even got some juice out of my frosted up solar panel.

Ya it sure seems from the charts that the high over us is really deflecting anything trying to head our way. I think nex thursday or Friday would be a good bet
