Our warmest day so far this year was January 4th of all days, when we hit 11.4C

Tomorrow (Thursday) we are slated to hit 10C but some parts of southern BC including the Fraser Valley are looking at temperatures approaching 15C. Will we maybe break out and have that kind of warmth? Possibly. Either way, it will definitely feel like spring.

The weather over the next few days and week will continue cold overnight and warm during the day. Perfect Maple tapping weather, if the buds haven’t appeared yet at least.

I also see Victoria is having their annual flower count. I’ve seen rhodos starting to bloom in Nanaimo and we have a number of crocuses in our yard here.

What do you have blooming in your yard? Leave a note in the comments.
