So they say when it rains it pours?

Well. That’s what it’s doing right now. You can throw in some gusty winds as well. I’m sorry to say it, but we can expect this weather through to next week.

For today, this nastiness should hopefully only last until late morning/early afternoon then it will taper off.

To my colleagues, friends, and students who will be joining me on the picket line at VIU today …. I hope you have a helly hansen jacket, because the umbrella isn’t going to cut it this morning. My burn barrel will be your burn barrel.

We will hope for a quick resolution when the sun comes out this afternoon.

In Solidarity,

Chris

  1. Hope everything went well for you today Chris! We’re in the middle of moving in to the new building up at the Chamber/Visitor Centre. We’re in a bit of a mess as to………. still in port-o-potties and have no front doors…. and getting stuff set up. We are open, sort of, and available to assist visitors and the general public. Soooooooooo enjoyed the wind that we had!
