Snow on the Hills
Lots of cool weather on the slate for the next few days. That big low in Alaska is sending a front our way tonight. Forecast is just for general cloudiness… I dunno… I’m hoping for snow… and I see a little bit of moisture in the satellite image, so who knows.

Yarco was snowy
So even though a warning wasn’t posted for us, we got 60kph winds this morning around 4AM… which is warning worthy… so this Storm is now christened Yarco! How much snow did you see? Didn’t last long here but i’m sure the skihills are excited. Update: I got this message today about the lightning storm…

Snow?
I’ve heard rumblings that it might dip below zero in the next week or so… the skiers will be happy for sure. Who knows if we’ll get any of the white stuff down here. It’s my birthday today… I can’t ever remember there being snow on my birthday.. maybe next year! 🙂 Oh ya, and…

Added Freezing Level
I’ve added an estimated Freezing Level (4th column, under Dewpoint). I’m undecided whether I’ll keep it… due to our very common “temperature inversions” that we have in the Valley. But generally, if people remember that if we have fog in the morning, then the estimate will be off.. then it should be OK. 🙂
