After a short respite, we’re headed back to sunny warm weather for a few days this week. Looks like it won’t be quite as persistent as before our rain yesterday.. We have some moisture in the forecast for next weekend, and then it’s slated to get quite a bit cooler, with highs in the low 20s and what looks like a real frontal system the weekend of the 21st.

We’ll see how it pans out, but it looks like our summer might be taking a breather over the next couple weeks. A good thing for the gardens perhaps and definitely the forests in the Interior if they get the same stuff. And who knows maybe it’ll set us up for a hot “Indian Summer” in September and October.
