Thanks to Tyler’s Heads up on the Sutton pass webcam…. It’s on it’s way. We’re at a snow-perfect 0.5C, moisture has spread across the Island and all is a Go for the flakes to fly.
Check out the Alberniweather page on the left hand side to guess on how much we might have to deal with tomorrow morning. There is a snowfall warning for the East Coast but it’s directed at Northern Sections.
- not the Nanaimo/Parksville area.
We’ll see if that holds. 😉

I’ve got 0.1c here at the moment. I am curious to see how much of the later on forecasted rain comes down as snow/slush if the cold sticks around.
EC is now saying “amount 10cm”, but it’s a tough call. The system starts from the NW and sometimes that direction skips right over us. Exciting as it might be to get the snow, I’d like to ride my bike to work tomorrow!
Sounds like its snowing out the far end of Sproat Lake…
