Most of the rain we should get today has already fallen, but it will still be showery. There will be showers hanging out all around the region Monday and Tuesday until it clear out Tuesday night.

It will dry out for the rest of the work week. Until Friday night when we look to be in for another strong front with rain and some wind.

A special shout out to the amazing people who volunteer for the Alberni Valley Search and Rescue. They spent the whole weekend, through all the wind and rain and cold, on Mt. Arrowsmith rescuing someone who had fallen into a very difficult place and was suffering broken bones. It was quite the show last night as the Comox Buffalo SAR plane dropped flares into the sky to help everyone see. I imagine the moon helped too.
