Showers Tuesday then dry until rainy stretch to begin April.

We received a nice bit of rain over the past couple days. You can see it on the 7 day graphs page.

The station is still underreporting rain by about 15-20% so I would estimate total rainfall over the past two days at about 10mm.

There will be some lingering showers on Tuesday before things dry out again for the rest of the week. There are no further bouts of rain before next week.

However, beyond that, looking to mid-April it does look like we could get into a wet pattern. Starting on Monday next week.

If the long range models are correct we could see almost 200mm of rain in the first 10 days of April. Good news for local water reservoirs as well as the snowpack as temperatures don’t look to remain seasonal.
