There may be a few showers today, but the real rain won’t start until later tonight.

As the Marine Synopsis states:

By 3:00 a.m. PST Saturday cold front located on a line north-south
over central Vancouver Island.

Here is the front as it sits over us tomorrow morning:

The rain and gusty winds won’t let up until the front passes at around 10AM which you can see on the graph below as the pressure bottoms out, the temperature drops and the rain ends.

Oh, and looks like my weather station has probably got into California today… Whether it actually gets delivered to its destination in Hayward, we shall see.
