It’s time for the November 2013 recap, what’s that thing in the sky edition.

Monthly Timelapse:

This November was dry. We received almost exactly half of our normal rainfall for the month. This comes on the heels of an extremely dry October. Normal rainfall for November is 295-305mm. Temperatures were slightly below normal in all categories but not hugely so and there was some disagreement between the city stations and the Airport station away from the water. Officially it will be a below normal November for both temperature and precipitation. I suspect if we still had a sunshine hours counter in town, we would have done well but that’s only speculation.

Forecasts had predicted normal rainfall… We didn’t get there.

  1. Great stats – very dry month! My family’s weather trauma month remains November 2006: 616.4 mm precipitation for the month at the airport, 126.4 of that was on one day – November 15!
