It is very icy this morning give yourself extra time to thaw out and de ice the car, be careful on the paths and sidewalks and take it slow on the road.

A slightly weaker system than yesterday is slated to come through the area tonight around 7PM and into early Thursday morning.

By sunrise it should start to dry out though there is a threat of rain or snow through the late morning.

We then dry out completely Friday.

On Saturday and Sunday we have something coming. The Canadian models say it will be mostly rain. The US models say it will be mostly snow.

If you are planning on going anywhere this weekend plan for the worst after 4PM Saturday especially if you are on the East Coast. The current worst case scenario involves half a foot or more of snow.

This forecast will change and may disappear entirely, but just take it as a heads up.
