If your driving this early morning be careful. It was a whiteout when I went over the hump at 6:15am. The cold air is hanging on and giving us very wet snow across the Island but it appears to be sticking most in Alberni. In Qualicum right noe 7am and roads are only wet.

The snow will inevitably turn to rain later today but dont go out there unprepared, it is a slushy, thick, mess and the flakes are big enough to stop a truck 🙂

  1. Looks like there has been some kind of snowslide at the camera on Sutton Pass. But it is hard to see as it’s still dark
