There will be no updates as I shutdown my server for Earth Hour. We’re going to see how low our power consumption can go in the house. Pictures to come… happy lights out!

  1. Not an experiment, but an equipment replacement here at my place. Upgraded my server to Asus Eeebox, and I bumped the power over to the inverter/battery bank. This thing uses about 20% of the power that my old tower did, and I have a way faster processor in this new box. /bragmode on The battery bank should last about 60+ hours now in emergency mode. /bragmode off Now to see what the monthly hydro bill looks like.
