There it is. I wanted to wait until tonight’s run before saying for sure, but it definitely looks like the East Coast of VI will receive some snow showers on Sunday.

Port Alberni might get some flurries, but this looks like Strait effect snow, so we will mostly be protected by the mountains.

It should start Sunday Morning before 7AM and last through the morning as long as the temperature stays near zero.

Please drive carefully if you are out and about, the inland Island highway and Errington areas are often magnets for the snow as they are up against the hills.
