Well, that little storm was entertaining. Hopefully no damaged was caused to anyone out there.

The forecast for the weekend is going to be ever-changing I think because we seem to be in a bit of an in-between place as far as weather patterns go. But I think it’s safe to say that while it won’t be the hottest May Long Weekend on record, it won’t be wet either. There looks to be a chance of showers today and tomorrow but that chance should decrease as the weekend progresses. It should also get progressively warmer through the weekend, but you’re definitely going to want to have a nice warm sleeping bag if you’re out in the wilderness and some warm clothes and a good fire for the morning.

I hope everyone has lots of fun this weekend! Stay safe, don’t feed the animals, and pack out what you packed in.

  1. Hate to say it, but that storm indirectly caused all sorts of mayhem at work for me. Our genset decided to go on vacation and basically leave the Ops room in the dark. When it did run, the lights were strobing, computers hicupping and crashing….Yuck! Took all day Thursday to get things back to semi-normalcy. Really don’t want to do that again!
