Happy Homecoming Weekend Port Alberni! 100 years strong!
It’s going to be a fun Homecoming weekend! The weather will be spectacular. There will be lots to do around town and it’s just generally going to be a great time!
NOTE: I just checked the bcwildfire website and the fire danger rating is forecast to reach extreme from the 4th (Saturday) onwards. BE CAREFUL AT CAMPSITES AND IN THE BACK COUNTRY. CAMPFIRE BANS *MAY* BE IMPOSED I WILL UPDATE THIS MESSAGE IF THEY ARE.

Also On Saturday it is THE 100th BIRTHDAY celebration of the beautiful church on ARGYLE ST now called Char’s Landing. Pop in and say hi to Char and check out the live music, food and drinks she’ll have there and that will be happening all over Argyle all day!

5pm-9pm open mic on Argyle Street with Barry Bruyere and Marilyn HarperSmith
9pm-11pm dance on Argyle Street to Rock n Roll with Cruise Control
9am-late V.I. Fries breakfast, lunch, dinner
1pm-late Licensed Lounge for AV Transition Town Society fundraiser.
