Finally some cool and possible moisture!

We’ll finally get some cooler (normal) temperatures in the coming days. Might also get some much needed rain to dampen down the fire hazard a bit.

I’ve continued a little bit of work on the backend of the website for the past week. The “Search Weather Data” (bottom of the Almanac above) is now able to understand different Units as well as handle slightly larger time spans (up to 4 months) though note that it will search and display in Eastern Time.

  1. Rain we are getting out here. Luckily it held of long enough for the Van Isle 360 boats to make harbour, but so far my site has recorded 1mm of rain today so far. And I think we’re gonna get some more too. Lord knows we need it!

  2. lol. OK, apparently my “total rain” variable is a little fubar. I’ll have to check that out. Hadn’t had a chance to test it πŸ™‚

    My new favourite thing is my rain/ET chart! Thats just about the coolest chart ever!
