Enjoy the Sun!

Here’s hoping the fog clears early today. It’s beautiful on the East side of the Island and should be pretty beautiful in Port Alberni too.

I’m optimistic that if the fog clears before noon we could get over the forecast high of 16C. Maybe we can get up towards 20…. Wouldn’t that be nice!

Either way this will be the last shot of warm and dry weather.

The rest of the week will be pretty soggy… We will dry out a bit again next week but start to remain cool. Our normal highs this time of year is around 12C. It looks like the weekly model I posted last week that showed the last days of October as the start of the chill is still on track. The GFS is showing upper atmosphere cooling to the freezing mark on Halloween, and our daytime highs not reaching over 5C for the following days after.

It might be time to break out the snow contest post!
