Just got back from Powell River and the hump was a whiteout with an inch of snow on the road. Not much plowing happening though they were going up the hill when I came down, so they might have just been on a shift change or something.

If you happen to be going over tonight or tomorrow morning… or out to the West Coast.

Be careful!

It will be interesting to see if it will get cold enough in town for snow. Reports in the comments have been that it’s been snowing on and off so be prepared for anything.

In other news, it looks like they’re filming a movie in Cathedral grove, around Cameron Lake and at Little Qualicum Falls. HUGE lights when we went by tonight. Looked really cool… I would have stopped if it wasn’t snowing like crazy 🙂

Expect more chances for snow in the next day or two before we switch over to clear and cold for the weekend… more interesting stuff for next week.

  1. O.K. Nobody has said anything, so ……………I will. This forecast is awesome! So Chris, Nick , everyone else, whatd’ya think?

  2. The moon and stars are just beautiful out tonight! Certainly doesn’t seem like snow right this minute… but we’re definitely setting up the cold-end of things. The hump was pretty terrible this morning.

I’m not sure where the moisture is going to come from for this 5cm of snow tomorrow. But there does seem to be a bit of a swirl out there…. We’ll see.

    And next week… Good Times.
