Did everyone catch the full ‘blue’ moon last night? It was a beauty! You can see it rising in yesterdays timelapse.

A blue moon is the 3rd full moon in a 4 full moon season. (One season usually has 3 full moons, one for each month).
This morning was pretty beautiful as well.

Today should be a great day. Warm and sunny. Thursday should be pretty nice as well.

There might be a change for Friday though, as the models are showing a front moving through on Friday morning around 10AM.

There may be another, weaker front move through Saturday, but we will have to wait and see. At this point it looks like it will hold off for the most part and we should have decent weather for the weekend.

Please note, there is still a campfire ban in effect for the South Island including around Port Alberni. The North Island and West Coast are allowed campfires. Check www.bcwildfire.ca if you a not sure or call your local fire dept.
