Good News! The model just did a big right turn…

Now instead of heavy rain and snow for the weekend, they’re predicting much less precipitation (only 50mm from tonight to Midnight Saturday, half what it was saying before), and instead a bit of a cold snap over the weekend. Getting down to around -5 to -10.

We’ll keep an eye on things here and see how it all shakes out. Obviously the forecasters are going to be having a real tough time with this one as well.

  1. what’s up with the big wind storm that is suppose to hit west vancouver Island ??
This is a neat site you have, seen it on tv the other night! I’m a bit of a weather addict, it’s nice to see others just like me!!
    Kodo’s!!

  2. Looks like the worst has already past for you guys out there. Our red, white and blue neighbours to the south aren’t so lucky though. They’re getting the major flow from the storm.

  3. Hey Chris, have you played with any wx modelling software? I just found one called WxSim I’m gonna play with. See if we can be better than the EC folks back east.

  4. I heard about this site on the tv, this is great, now I can visit one site and get all the cams and road news. Its all here. Now stop the snow. Happy new year!
