There is going to be a good chance of rain today as a front pushes through this morning. Here’s the 9AM forecast, you can see the front off the coast.
It won’t be really strong rain like we’ve had, but still enough to need an umbrella.
On Friday, the last day of May, we can expect it to feel just a little warmer, likely a little muggy. Still chance to get more rain showers, but we should see a lot more sun breaking through.
Saturday we will again have a front move through and give us showers, but it will be weak and breaking up as it reaches us as you can see below. The North Island should certainly get some rain, but it will be weaker the further south you are, so it will be interesting to see just what we get out of it. Victoria likely won’t see much of anything.
From that point on June greets us with what looks like some beautiful weather! The temperature map below shows low to mid twenties on Sunday!
We should get that for at least the first half of next week, as can be seen in the last one here, the precipitation is a long ways away with a big high over us.
The webcam will be offline today as I upgrade the computer it is on. Lots of upgrades lately, but its all starting to come together. The website changes are done for now though I might tweak it a little here and there. The next big feature coming… Double vision!
