Fall is coming… in the form of rain on the West Coast and Alberni Valley!

It’s September 1st. The first day of Meteorological fall!

First post in quite awhile as well. 🙂

I’m going to try out some quick posts to see if I can get back into the habit.

Here’s the view of the next couple days.

According to these maps from UWash you can expect rain to start Wednesday morning, and continue into the night as the associated low spins off down the coast toward Oregon. There is a rainfall warning for the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

a long band of moisture is pictured along the west coast of Canada and the USA
big swirl of patchy moisture in the ocean

That’s a proper band of moisture from California on Wednesday morning and a nice swirl off the Columbia river by Wednesday night. Glad I’m not in a boat

Stay safe out there. And don’t worry, the equinox might be coming, but I think we’ll still see some sunny and warm weather over the next few weeks!
