  • A little Snow, big system

    Might get a little snow soon… flurries in the forecast. Too bad we didn’t get that big bad system in Alaska.

  • New Weather Server version

    Some Data delayed. The current tabular data (current Temperature, wind, etc) may be delayed right now as an upgrade to the software is having some issues. The update fixed the delay in graphs udpates though, so the graphs are totally accurate, as are the “highs and lows” in the table. Ah, the irony.

  • National Weather Warning System

    Saw this today at ViveLeCanada.ca The CRTC-approved program will force all broadcasters to issue weather alerts during severe weather. “You are going to have an automatic interruption of your TV and your radio and other technologies,” including cellphones, satellite TV and internet service, said Chuck Sanderson with Manitoba’s Emergency Measures Organization.     Just watching the late news, there is a Blizzard Warning for Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State for tomorrow! Very rare. They’re expecting very strong winds down there, heavy snow, heavy rain.
