Monday morning showers already tapering off.

Last night’s rain and wind has already become to taper off. Below is what the system looked like from 4-7AM. The front should be now moving south down the Island and away.

However, that won’t be the end of it. After spending some time in Washington State the moisture is going to kickback north and strong rain will return overnight Monday along with gusty winds.

Wind warnings remain in effect for both the West and East coast of the Island and will probably remain through tonight.

Tuesday will feature showers all day.

Tuesday night will again usher in more strong rain as a final push moves through around midnight.

Finally, it appears that Wednesday will be our break for the week and we will hopefully see the sun at some point during the day as we dry out.

That will be our only chance at sun though since the rain is expected to return for the end of the week.

Happy Monday!
