Whether we get more, is up for debate. It looks like the front and stream coming off the Pacific has gone through and is affecting the Seattle area more than us. We’ll probably get some more rain… maybe… before we go back to sun. I heard on the Seattle news last night that the last time Seattle had significant rainfall was May 19th. Which jives pretty well with us as well. They say it was the driest stretch in 60 years for them, I haven’t heard any similar pronouncements from Environment Canada, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we set similar marks.

  1. What do your records say for June and July Chris? EC shows 18.6mm on June 24, and another 18mm falling over July 6,7 and 8.

  2. Click on Search Previous Weather Data below the High/Lows and you’ll be able to find out my weahter data.

We’ve had 32mm of rain since about May 19

  3. Cool. EC shows 59.4mm since May 12, so that’s only 5mm different from your gauge. Strangely, The Weather Network shows 70.4 from May 12 to August 11, so I don’t know where they get their numbers.

  4. Ok… did some crunching on my weather station. I only have 2008 and 2009 for the May til August frame that we are looking at, and I got this:
    2009: 58mm
    2008: 44mm

My WMR968 gauge only tips 1mm measurements, so its quite possible that some half buckets never got filled and them evaporated after the storm.
