Top Three in Canada yesterday. Cooling off and wet this weekend.

What a day yesterday! We got a real taste of summer with an official high at the Airport of 29.6°C. This was 3rd in Canada to Ashcroft (which broke 30) and Lytton. These highs did not break the 1998 record (31°C).

Here at Alberniweather we got up to 29.8°C and boy was it nice at the beach!

Today it will be nice most if not all of the day, just not as warm. We should get up to 20°C. There might be some very light showers late this afternoon and evening. We do have a chance at breaking a record today since the 1998 high was only 22°C. But I would put those chances pretty low given the transition we are in.

More serious rain showers will start around 11AM Saturday and last through the whole weekend. A few leftover April showers for our May flowers.

Happy Weekend!
