The models seem to be settling and coming into good agreement now that we are destined for whiteness starting perhaps as soon as Friday night and Satirday morning.

One thing should be noted: don’t expect large snowfalls. There does not appear to be a big batch of moisture until Wednesday or Thursday next week.

Saturday will just be flurries or light showers in the air with maybe some accumulations to 5cm. Sunday looks dry for now.

Monday will might get a little bit more, again 5cm or so at most.

Throughout this time it will be cold. Down to -5C or perhaps lower if it stays clear. It looks set to break on Tuesday night and Wednesday next week when a more substantial push of moisture is slated to come in. At that point we will be at the mercy of the cold air to find out how much snow or rain we get. At this point though, I’m inclined to think it will be more rain than snow… But with it a week away we will have to just wait to see.

Get the bags of salt out… The roads were a little slick this morning.
