Smoke clearing but AQ fluctuating. Showers today and Saturday. Rain next week.

We were down to a normal 15ug/m3 overnight as the smoke had basically cleared out. Unfortunately it has settled back in this morning.

We are back up to 40ug/m3 but the forecasts seem to point to it continuing to disperse. We should be all clear by the end of the day on Saturday.

Weekend Scattered showers Turn to Rain Storm next week.

We were supposed to get rain today and tomorrow but now the forecast has it kind of happening all around the Alberni Valley today and tomorrow. Here are the 5AM-5AM 24 hour maps for the next few days.

Friday: Mostly south.

Rain Scale – Millimeters on top, centi-inches on bottom. (1024cin = 10 inches)

Saturday: Mostly North.

Sunday: Showers all over.

Monday: A break.

Tuesday: The rain comes. 30mm.

Wednesday: Hold my beer. Here’s 90mm more! (Up to 120 between 5PM Tuesday and 5PM Wednesday).

Rain Scale – Millimeters on top, centi-inches on bottom. (1024cin = 10 inches)

A COVID Warning.

Two tweets I will highlight this morning. One from me last night, I did a very rudimentary mathematical extrapolation (ie. it’s just math) based on current trends.
