The high pressure ridge that protected us for the weekend and through Family Day has now weakened and we are getting rain this morning.

It won’t be too much and it won’t last too long. Just enough to give some fresh snow to the mountains.

As a whole the week should not be too bad. We should have near normal temperatures above 5C during the day and no freezing overnight. The snowdrops and daffodil shoots will be happy.

Next Monday however there is a chance we could return to a cold and possibly snowy pattern. I’ve marked in the chart below:

After that event there is a chance we remain cool. We will keep an eye on next Monday though. As it stands it could be interesting.
