Rain around noon. Drying for Halloween time.

Well the party is finally coming to an end. It’s going to rain today.

It shouldn’t be too strong, but the rain should start after 11AM this morning and last through the evening and into Thursday morning.

The big question of course is what will it be doing at Trick or Treat time tomorrow. Thankfully, the 8PM image below shows it’s dried out and no precipitation is expected between 5-8PM.

The serious rain is coming for the weekend. Right now the models are saying rain will start in the evening on Friday.

It will be a blustery, stormy night. This image for 5AM Saturday morning is pretty dramatic. Showing the swirl of the centre of the storm as it approaches. We should expect 15mm of rain overnight Friday.

There is a chance we will get some blustery wind on Saturday as the low approaches and after it makes landfall around 8AM but it is not slated to be a very strong low (990mb) and it is expected to make landfall in Washington State, delivering them the strongest winds. We will know better by Friday.

Have a great day! And Happy Halloween tomorrow!
