Looks to be a pretty mild and calm set up for the next week or two. Temperatures should stay above freezing for the most part, there will be a few chances for brief flurries, but not much. When the wind blows, it will bring in very warm air in the 6-10C range.

There isn’t very much precipitation in the forecast either. Looks like tonight and tomorrow morning will be the last of it for a couple days, then a little more towards the end of the work week.

A nice break after the wild week we had last week I think. 🙂

  1. Wow, dry and warm in January. What a strange winter. According to the latest El Nino/La Nina outlook, “La Niña is expected to last well into the Northern Hemisphere spring 2011”, but it sure doesn’t seem to be having the usual effect here!

  2. Ya it’s sort of coming in fits and starts. We had that shot of cold in November, then warm all December… then another shot of cold… now warm again.

  3. Ya, maybe it’ll be like the Spring of ’09 when we had snow well into March. Brett Anderson at Accuweather is forecasting a major warm-up in the west for the next 2 weeks though. He really means the Prairies, but it affects us too.
