#1: It shouldn’t rain. We should still be between rains, with some scattered showers possible (but unlikely) on New Years Eve and more serious showers slated for the night of January 1st.

#2: As we can see below, it might be reasonably warm though likely foggy… if it’s foggy, expect it to be below 5C. If it clears, it might get up to around 8C. It won’t make the water feel that much warmer, but at least it won’t be below zero!

Here is a prediction of cloud cover… showing it *should* be reasonably clear or partly cloudy. Might make for decent pictures of the crazy people in the water!

It should be fun! If you’re wondering how to get to the new beach, just go to the very end of 3rd Avenue just past Ship Creek Road. There is a fork to the right with a big gate on it… That gate should be open of course before the event starts at Noon, hopefully they have some balloons or something!
