Much needed rain to continue all day Wednesday. Break Thursday then returns Friday.

It was very nice to hear the sound of rain pounding down on the roof this morning when I woke up. The rain should continue all day in Port Alberni, though it had stopped in Parksville and Nanaimo when I made my way over the hump.

The rain should taper off late this afternoon. Totals for the first round of rain ending tonight should be around 15mm.

We’ll get a break on Thursday before rain returns around 11PM Thursday night and continues all the way through Friday and into Saturday morning.

We should get another break Sunday before more showers return for Monday.

This is desperately needed rainfall for sure so lets hope the lakes and rivers fill and if we’re lucky a little bit of snow will accumulate in the mountains.

Enjoy the umbrella weather!
