UPDATE Be careful on the East Coast especially. There are blustery and cold winds blowing from the Northwest and it’s making for slippery driving, and walking!

No big accumulations here mainly because of the Beauforts blocking us off, but on the East coast there could be patches of significant accumulation if the Strait effect kicks in. Currently both Environment Canada and the GFS have only a mild amount of precipitation for all regions.

Once the threat of snow passes and the North Westerly wind kicks in we’re going to cool right down and get some sunny and clear days. Likely with a little fog moderating the temperature here and there. Expect lows down below -5C at least and -10C is possible especially away from the Inlet.

All I can say about next week is that it looks…. interesting… we’ll see if the models hold or if they’re going to continue flipflopping… I’ll wait a few days before I commit a post to what they’re predicting.
